My name is Fran Heard & I’m a mother, wife, visionary and a ‘garden designer’ with a difference.

After graduating from Writtle College in ‘Garden Design’ and having my first child, I realised that there were no limitations to life and creativity. From these events, it enabled me to give birth to the idea of ‘The Spiritual Garden’.

I believe that the garden allows us to breath, have fun and feel alive in our own beliefs & life.  ‘The Spiritual Garden’ lets you discover the depth of your self-worth.  Enabling you to honour your faith & beliefs reflected in colour, plants & trees.  By thinking, walking and breathing in your garden, lets a natural mediation occur using the elements, creating a haven for clarity in making decisions as you go along your life’s path.  Bringing birth to new ideas and allowing you to step forward in a secure space.

Another twist to my garden design portfolio is the ‘The Outdoor Bathroom’.  I started creating these as designs for clients in the Southwest of France.  It is a unique idea, allowing you to shower or bathe in the garden full of beautiful plants and trees, under the stars or with the elements.  A space created to let you relax and feel the tranquillity of life and nature infusing – a place to wash away the troubles & woes.  I believe that through colour and water you can cleanse your mind and body and rebalance your energy bank. 

Life is about creating and using your safe place to find solutions in life’s journey,  a journey which twists and turns throughout time and space.  What better place for this to be achieved, than your own ‘Spiritual Garden’.
